How We Rate

Reviews are intentionally oriented to provide a fast but at the same time thorough and complete view covering all major key areas.

You (probably) won’t see us using meaningless benchmarks or tests of video files of special encoding with no application in real life (like a 400Mbit bit rate file of seagulls flying around).

You will also not find a rating system. Even a 25$ Android player can play high bit rate 1080p files with DD/DTS, so what’s not to like? Don’t worry though, both demanding and casual users will get the feedback they want 😉

About

Hi there !

I live in beautiful Greece and my passion for watching films and messing around with my home cinema led me (kinda without knowing) to switch gear every now and then. Especially media players.

Although time is extremely limited due to my obligations (not only in professional level but also as a husband and a father as well) I chose to start this reviews blog in order to share with viewers all my experiences with the media players and other related (or not) gadgets that are in my possession.

Rest assured that all the reviews are not biased in any way. Just my honest view…

PS. Special thanks to Dimdim for being an excellent webmaster and make things easier for me. This would never happen without him.
